Black Friday follows the Friday after Thanksgiving in the USA and marks the start of Christmas Shopping period. Black Friday falls on November 26th 2010 this year.

Black Friday is a special week-long sale event on Amazon's UK store. It occurs only once a year. During the day, Amazon offers discounts on a selected range of iPods, Mac and accessories. Since Apple does not typically allow discounts, this is a VERY UNIQUE event and a big opportunity for consumers to get some fantastic deals on Christmas shopping.

To celebrate the occasion Apple has joined in. Apple Store will discount products which are not normally discounted. Such items include iPods, iPads and electicals.
