Apple Inc’s latest technological venture, Apple iPad, provides a new personal computing experience. The tablet PC has much to offer in terms of applications, and it is deemed better than the laptop in many ways.

The New iPad

The launch of the new iPad 3 went off as expected. It was loud, exciting, and caught the attention of millions worldwide. One of the reasons it garnered so much attention was its changes over the iPad 2, many of which are said to border on spectacular. Here is a list of the more important changes found between the iPad 2 and iPad 3.

The iPad 3 (which many are now referring to simply as "the new iPad) has a display that far outdoes what is seen on the iPad 2. The new iPad sports a Retina display that features resolutions at 2048-by-1536 resolution. This results in 44 percent greater color saturation through 3.1 million pixels. The size comes in at 9.7 inches. The new iPad display contain 4 times as many pixels as found in the iPad 2.

Many experts were worried that the better display would sacrifice battery life when compared to the iPad 2, but that does not seem to be case. Battery life between the two is about the same at ten hours.

One of the more interesting differences between the iPad 2 and iPad 3 is that the iPad 3 can act as a personal hotspot. This is the first time that any iPad is capable of sharing a high-speed data connection. The new iPad can work as a hotspot for up to five devices as long as the user's carrier offers that support. It can work over USB, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth.

The iPad 3 also got an improved 5 MP camera that is located on the back of the device. It also has an amazing HD video capture (1800p).

Buy an iPad 3 cheaper?

If you want to wait until the price drops, you'll be in for a long wait! Apple do not discount their iPad prices, nor permit retailers to offer discount vouchers for them. Other than that, all that remains to get your hands on a cheaper iPad 3 deal would be to visit Apple Store and buy a refurbished unit. Second hand iPad 3 tablets are resold by Apple after being returned and repaired by Apple's Genius Technicians. An Apple customer would get a new iPad 3 on the grounds of warranty exchange for a valid reason. A complete list of valid and invalid reasons is beyond the scope of here.
