Nokia N8
Nokia N8 can be considered as Nokia's best creation till date with outstanding features such as 12 megapixel cameras, Carl Zeiss lens, and many more. It also has aluminum casing, free satellite navigation, HDMI support, and a large 3.5 inch screen with a 640x360 resolution.
High-definition Camera: As already stated, Nokia N8 has a fantastic 12 megapixel camera along with Carl Zeiss optics. To improve the photos taken in poor light, the phone comes with xenon flash. The camera on the phone also offers a zoom, 3x for video and 2x for images. Moreover, the user will not have to mess about editing the photographs on a PC. N8 consists of inbuilt software which lets the user edit images, include text, and also add music. The videos can be shot at 25 frames per second, which is adequate for most occasions. Nokia's N8 also has settings to set the video light, scene, white balance, color tone, and the like. In the media features, there is an inbuilt YouTube application and much more. There is gold standard direct email delivery that is fast, efficient and secure and connects to Facebook and Twitter. Other user friendly features on this phone include quick launch of applications, great call quality and quick access to settings. |

HDMI Connection: One of the most unique features of this phone is the HDMI port which permits the user to see video and photos on other electronic devices in pretty HD resolution. As Dolby Digital Plus technology is also supported, the user can listen to the songs stored on the phone via a home theatre system. Its sound quality is top class.
The Nokia N8 also has built-in connectivity to an online social website where the user can upload his or her photos – extremely popular with Facebook™ currently.
Satellite Navigation: Satellite navigation (voice guided) comes free on this set. There is no need to subscribe. Therefore, the user can look at saving 70 to 80 pounds in a year.
With the advent of DAB radio it's a pity this handset still has an FM transmitter built-in. Although to give credit where credit is due, no built-in radio is present on the iPhones without downloading an App for that.
As for buying this handset, the Nokia N8 is for sale on contract with Three Mobile from £35 per month or can be bought for £429 SIM free on Amazon. With the outstanding features on offer, it is definitely a good buy for a gadget-conscious individual.
