For the past three years, O2 has been consecutively winning the best network awards. At the Mobile Choice Awards, O2 won the Best Network award (2010) which is voted for by the readers of the magazine and website. O2 has to be one of the top 3 mobile provider networks in the United Kingdom.
Which network is going to offer the best plan and has the best quality of the network are some questions clouding their mind after angry O2 customers reported glitches with the iPhone 4 Ariel and data settings. No such problems exist on the new iPhone 5.
O2 has recently launched their iPhone 5 to UK public and people are just dying to get their hands on it. O2 sell the 5 in 16GB, 32GB and new for 2012 64GB models. (Incidentally the older models have kept their value well so it definitely worth buying the new model). iP4S & iP5 have enhanced features like Siri, iMessaging, video calling (face-time) plus exclusive Apple iOS 6 game center and Apps for FREE to download.

The best price "no upfront cost" iPhone 5 on O2 costs £46 per month on a 24-month plan; in black or white.
Joining O2 is easy for new customers. On O2 pay monthly contract, there is no 12 or 18 month plans, so its 24 month plan or bust. iPhone 5 on O2 is not available at launch on Pay & Go either.
O2's instalments start at £21.50 and go up to £63 monthly. The down payment on a £26.00 plan is £249 for 16GB and £299 for 32GB iPhone 5. As the instalment rate increases, the down payment keeps on decreasing. If you take a £46 per month instalment plan (not shown here), you can get an iPhone 5 16GB free. You are restricted to the usage specified by the plan, however you shop online for 'Bolt ons' to increase your Internet data limits. O2's iPhones include Visual Voicemail, up to 1GB of UK data and Wi-Fi.

Tariffs
O2 tariffs are in line with others, however they lack incentives offered by Orange, T-Mobile, 3 Mobile and Vodafone.
As per usual MMS is not part of O2 contract pay monthly plans. Each costs 25p per picture message or buy an O2 bolt on for £3.99 for 16 MMS, which costs 24.9375 per message.
Refurbished Options. You can't buy a refurbished 4S or 5 from O2 unless you take out a 18 or 24 month contract. you can't buy one out right to use on their paygo simplicity.

Customers who use O2 Recycle to trade in old mobiles and other gadgets can now select payment by Amazon Giftcard.
When customers select Amazon they will receive 8% more than when they choose the cash option. This is a fantastic addition to the recycle product!
