iPhone Voicemail Charges
Visual Voicemail is exclusively available on iPhone mobile phones. However, looking at the small print you will find some iPhone 4 and 4S features are not supported by all providers.
What network has visual voicemail on iPhone?
O2 - Currently has visual voicemail. Voicemail is inclusive as part of your Internet data allowance.
Orange - Currently has plans for a free visual voicemail, which most likely will be taken from your mobile data allowance also. Building the VPN is taken longer than expected so no date has been announced for Orange to enable video messaging.
Which networks do not have visual voicemail on iPhone?
Tesco Mobile (O2) does not offer visual voicemail.
Three Mobile (3) does not offer visual voicemail.
T-Mobile (Tmobile) does not offer visual voicemail.
Vodafone - does not offer visual voicemail.
All the aforementioned have no future plans to enable their visual voicemail on their network.
Regular Voice mail
O2, Orange and Vodafone have unlimited free voicemail to customers with iPhone mobiles on contract.
On Three Mobile voicemail is chargeable and not free. On T-Mobile - voicemail is chargable. T-Mobile have been critised in the past for offering hullomail, another premium service for voicemail where voicemail calls cost 30p per minute.
FaceTime is different to Visual Voicemail
Video messaging should not be confused with FaceTime (iPhone 4, iPhone 4S). Facetime is available on WiFi and is a live stream, similar to a Webcam rather than a pre-recorded video message.
